Held on the site of the restored Man o' War barn at Mt. Brilliant Farm, an evening to benefit The Race For Education was announced Friday. The night, celebrating legendary Man o' War's 100th birthday, will feature food, classic jazz and a presentation by local historian Yvonne Giles.
“We are proud that Mr. & Mrs. Goodman have selected our organization to be the beneficiary of the truly once in a lifetime event,” said Elisabeth Jensen, Executive Director of The Race For Education. “The venue in front of the barn where Man o' War spent so many years is a perfect setting. Everything they do is first class.”
Tickets to the event are $500 and include dinner and cocktails sponsored by Equus Standardbred Station. Each attendee will also have the opportunity to receive one of 100 Maker's Mark Man o' War bottles produced specially for the dinner.
