Mulligan Stable, but Critical

Consignor Mike Mulligan, who underwent surgery Tuesday night to reduce pressure in his skull, is in stable, but critical condition at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, according to Fasig-Tipton's Director of Marketing, Terence Collier. Mulligan suffered head injuries in a fall following the Fasig-Tipton Two-Year-Olds in Training sale Tuesday night. “The most recent tests, some of which included a visit by his attending physician at 9 a.m. this morning, show further signs of stabilization of his condition,” he said. “The doctors are pleased with the direction that he's headed; it would be unlikely that he'd be out of the hospital within two weeks.” Mulligan, the president of the National Association of Two-Year-Old Consignors, operates Leprechaun Racing along with his wife, Britt.
