My Meadowview Farm went to $1.1M to get Appealing Zophie at the Fasig-Tipton November sale Sunday, but there was still plenty of money left in the wallet. Owned by Leonard Riggio, chairman of Barnes & Noble, My Meadowview ponied up $1.9M at the opening session of Keeneland November to take home Winds of March (Ire) (Sadler's Wells), in foal to Kingmambo. The six-year-old mare is a half to champion and Classic winner Sleepytime (Ire) (Royal Academy), champion and G1SW Ali-Royal (Royal Academy), champion and MG1SW Taipan (Last Tycoon {Ire}) and MGSW Oonagh MacCool (Giant's Causeway).
