The catalogue for the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale to be held on the Gold Coast May 25 and 26 is online. The sale includes 554 weanlings by 95 individuals sires. Those include 19 first-season sires.
“We are excited to release the first sale of the National Sale Series,” Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox said. “The sale has produced countless success stories–from outstanding Group 1 winners to the yearling sale stars of the future. Pierro, Zoustar, Peggy Jean and Driefontein are examples of the quality racehorses who have emerged first at the National Weanling Sale.”
Last year's National Weanling Sale saw 292 youngsters sold for A$17,348,250, at an average of A$59,412 and a median of A$34,000. The top price of A$400,000 was paid by James Harron Bloodstock for a colt by Fastnet Rock (Aus).
