A colt by Neo Universe (Jpn) topped Tuesday's JRHA Select Sale with a final bid of 112,000,000 yen ($1,244,444) from Takaya Shimakawa. The foal, consigned by Northern Farm, is a full-brother to Japanese champion sophomore colt and G1 Japanese Derby winner Logi Universe (Jpn). Shimakawa also purchased a son of Deep Impact (Jpn) for 92,000,000 yen ($1,022,222) during Tuesday's session. That colt, out of MG1SP Data (Arg) (Roy), was also consigned by Northern Farm.
