NJSEA To Negotiate With Morris Bailey On Monmouth Lease

The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority announced Monday that it has chosen the bid of New York real estate developer and casino owner Morris Bailey for the lease of Monmouth Park, and will begin working with Bailey to finalize an agreement. “The NJSEA is looking forward to vigorous and productive negotiations with Mr. Bailey, whose resources, track record and vision provide the most reasonable prospect for the private leasing of Monmouth Park by June 1, 2011,” stated NJSEA Authority Chairman Mike Ferguson. In addition to his business interests, Bailey is a Thoroughbred owner and breeder.
