Tears I Cry (m, 5, Chester House–Mount Helena {GB}, by Danzig), produced by a half-sister to the outstanding Street Cry (Ire), was knocked down to Australia's Vin Cox for a session-topping bid of $735,000 as the opening session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale reached its midpoint Tuesday afternoon. Consigned by Select Sales, Tears I Cry was raced by successful Central Kentucky horseman Pete Bradley to three wins and a Grade III-placing in the Quija Board Distaff S. in 2008. She made two starts this season and was sold in foal to Horse of the Year Curlin (Smart Strike) on an Apr. 5 cover date.
