Following a stellar 4-for-4 season, GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies heroine My Miss Aurelia (Smart Strike) was named champion 2-year-old filly at the Eclipse Awards. Bred by Stonestreet Stables and owned by Stonestreet and George Bolton, My Miss Aurelia also won the GI Frizette S. and GII Adirondack S. She is trained by Steve Asmussen. My Miss Aurelia won all but one of the 248 votes; the others went to GII Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Stephanie's Kitten (Kitten's Joy).
