David Ellis of Te Akau Racing, the leading buyer on NZBPRM's first day, purchased a Redoute's Choice (Aus)–Love Connection (Jpn) (Sunday Silence) colt for NZ$700,000 from vendor Pencarrow Stud. The yearling is half to Stanica (NZ) (Zabeel {NZ}), who is G1SP in New Zealand.
