Iowa-bred SEIUN CHARM (Dominus) switches to the turf off a debut third on the dirt at Tokyo Nov. 6. Bought back on a bid of $14,000 at KEESEP last fall, the bay filly zipped an eighth of a mile in :10 flat at this year's OBSAPR sale and sold to Narvick International for $200K, the lone six-figure juvenile for her sire in 2016. Her stakes-winning dam Sea Bloom (Sea Hero) has already produced Panamanian champ Tale of Angel (Tale of Ekati).
5th-CKO, ¥13,400,000 (US$118k), 2yo, Newcomers, 1400mT
ZUAR (The Factor), a $115K KEENOV weanling, fetched $290K as a FTKOCT yearling and lures Ryan Moore for his career debut. Also a $200K OBSAPR breezer, the April-foaled bay was sold in utero for $120K at KEENOV in 2013 and is out of a half-sister to the good sprinter Clearly Now (Horse Greeley) and the SW & GSP 'TDN Rising Star' Bendable (Horse Greeley). Zuar was bred by Lane's End Bloodstock. Mozu Meydan (Pioneerof the Nile), a $190K KEESEP yearling, is the first foal out of Status Pending (Tale of the Cat), runner-up in the 2011 Ruthless S., and breaks from the rail.

YUJI (War Front) is the second produce of GSW & MGISP Satans Quick Chick (Sky Mesa) and was hammered down to trainer Hideyuki Mori for $900K at KEESEP in 2015. The March foal's second dam, MGSP Dancing Devlette (Devil's Bag), is responsible for GSW Pratella (Jade Hunter), the dam of SW & MGSP Angliana (Giant's Causeway), and the stakes-placed De Roode (Dixieland Band) and Stephanie Jayne (Henny Hughes). This is also the extended female family of Union Rags. Yuji's year-old half-brother Tricked Up (Distorted Humor), a $500K FTFMAR grad, was second in an Aqueduct turf allowance Saturday. @EquinealTDN
