Impressive when successful in the Listed Prix Saraca over 6 1/2 furlongs at Maisons-Laffitte Sept. 12, Dame du Roi (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) steps up to a mile for Wednesday's G3 Prix Thomas Bryon at Saint-Cloud. She beat the re-opposing North Thunder (Fr) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) by 2 1/2 lengths in that contest in the manner of a filly going places, putting behind her a disappointing previous effort when fifth in the G3 Prix du Calvados over seven at Deauville Aug. 20. North Thunder's stablemate Ajmal (Ire) (Shamardal) represents Ballymore Thoroughbreds and is also stepping up in trip after a six-furlong debut win at Maisons-Laffitte Sept. 12. Aleyrion Bloodstock Ltd's Mate Story (Ire) (Makfi {GB}) was second in the G3 Prix la Rochette over seven furlongs here last time Sept. 4, but the winner Kontrastat (Fr) (My Risk {Fr}) was soundly beaten in Sunday's G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere.
