Dr Christoph Berglarís homebred Novellist (Ire) (Monsun {Ger}) has been scratched from Sundayís G1 Prix de líArc de Triomphe after he was found to be running a fever. The G1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, G1 King George VI & Queen Elizabeth S. and G1 Grosser Preis von Baden winner might now point to the Nov. 24 G1 Japan Cup. ìHe had a temperature this morning and it has developed even more, so there is no way we can let him travel to Paris,î trainer Andreas Wohler told PA Sport. ìItís unbelievable and very disappointing, but he has given us some great moments this year. He will get an entry in the Japan Cup, but it is much too early to think about that now.î
