The New York Racing Fan Advisory Council (RFAC) will host a public town hall with New York Racing Association stewards, as well as agents for top New York jockeys, including Hall of Famer Angel Cordero, Jr. July 19. Former jockey Richard Migliore, who recently stepped down from duties as NYRA television host, will join the RFAC to moderate the two scheduled panel discussions.

“The Racing Fan Advisory Council is proud to host this inaugural event, which will provide an in-depth 'behind-the-scenes' look at how the decisions are made that impact the races we love,” said RFAC Chair Craig Alfred. “All race fans are invited to this special event to learn more about this great sport.”

The event, which will take place at the Fasig-Tipton PavilionĀ in Saratoga Springs from 7-9 p.m., is free and open to the public.
