In conjunction with the Permanently Disabled Jockeys' Fund, the NY Racetrack Chaplaincy will honor Hall of Fame jockey Angel Cordero Jr. at its Night of Champions Sunday, Oct. 29 at Passione Italian restaurant, 231 Old Country Road, Carle Place, NY.
The event will also feature a meet-and-greet with each of the three jockeys to win a Triple Crown race in 2017-Cordero's client John Velazquez, Javier Castellano and Jose Ortiz. The public is also invited to bid on racing auction items including 1% ownership of a Thoroughbred, a VIP package to the 2018 Belmont S. and other racing-related memorabilia.
