The NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 will be part of the Belmont Fall Meet starting Sept. 9, exclusively for NYRA Bets members and bettors in New York wagering on track or at a simulcast facility.
The multi-race wager will cover the last five races of live racing at Belmont Saturdays and Sundays through Super Saturday Oct. 7 and features a low 15% takeout rate and $0.50 minimum bet. The NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 includes a 100% carryover provision of the net pool into the next available NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 if there are no winning tickets. There will be a mandatory payout of the pool Oct. 7.

Launched at Belmont Park July 4, the NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 was then offered every day of the 2017 summer meet at Saratoga. In the 48 race days since its launch, the average pool size of the NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 is $145,164 with an average payout of $10,792 for the $.50 bet. The largest pool was $349,643 Saturday, July 22, which included a $104,258 carryover from opening day at Saratoga.
