MUDAJAJ (Arch) debuts for Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Charlie Hills with a $425,000 KEESEP price tag to justify on the track. The half-brother to the GII Indiana Derby and GII Kentucky Cup Classic winner and GI Blue Grass S. third Zanjero (Cherokee Run) encounters another unraced colt with an intriguing pedigree in Kenneth and Sarah Ramsey's Lord Kitten (Kitten's Joy), a David Lanigan-trained full-brother to the GIII W. L. McKnight H. scorer Charming Kitten, who was also third in the Blue Grass.
