SALSA (IRE) (Galileo {Ire}) is a full-sister to her G1 Nassau S.-bound stablemate Hermosa (Ire), heroine of this year's G1 English and Irish 1000 Guineas, Hydrangea (Ire) who was successful in the 2017 G1 British Champions Fillies & Mares S., and the G1 Ranvet S. winner The United States (Ire). Sent up against some experienced rivals, she is joined by fellow newcomer Ruby Power (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}), a half-sister to the disqualified G1 1000 Guineas heroine Jacqueline Quest (Ire) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}) who races for King Power and Richard Hannon.
