2.35 Doncaster, Novice, £5,800, 3yo, 7f 6yT
COUNTRY (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) is a well-regarded newcomer representing Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and William Haggas and has the pedigree to back up the expected market support, being a full-brother to Luck Or Design (Ire), later known as Lucky Nine (Ire) when capturing the 2014 G1 International Sprint at Kranji. Also a half to the Japanese Group 3-winning sprinter Teehaff (Jpn) (Storming Home {GB}), the bay will have to be smart to contend with King Power Racing's 420,000gns Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up graduate Fox Champion (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}), a Richard Hannon-trained winner at Kempton when last seen in October.
