Debuting for Sir Michael Stoute's local yard, the Cheveley Park Stud homebred's opponents include Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar's Arwa (Ire) (Holy Roman Emperor (Ire)">Holy Roman Emperor {Ire}), who is a Charles Hills-trained half to four stakes winners, including G1 Irish St Leger and G1 Ascot Gold Cup hero Order of St George (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), and Carol Hammersmith's homebred Oh So Terrible (Cape Blanco {Ire}), who is a Wesley Ward-trained daughter of GI Santa Monica H. runner-up Miss Terrible (Arg) (Numerous).

EASY VICTORY (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), who carries Godolphin's second colours in this first go, is out of 2001 G2 Sun Chariot S. victress Independence (GB) (Selkirk) and is thus a full-brother to 2009 G2 Great Voltigeur S. winner and G1 St Leger third Monitor Closely (Ire), and half to 2008 G1 Eclipse S.-winning sire Mount Nelson (GB) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}). Saeed bin Suroor's incumbent encounters 10 rivals here, including Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah's Marwa (GB) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), whose siblings include GII Arkansas Derby victor Sir Cherokee (Cherokee Run) and MGSW GI Go For Wand H. second Miss Isella (Silver Charm); and Suffragette City (Ire) (Dragon Pulse {Ire}), a once-raced half to Richard Hannon stablemate Illuminate (Ire) (Zoffany), who ran second in the G1 Cheveley Park S. after bagging the G2 Duchess of Cambridge S. at this meet last year.

RADIO SILENCE (War Front">War Front), a son of the 2007 GI Ballerina S. heroine Maryfield (Elusive Quality), sidesteps the maiden route and debuts for the Jim Bolger barn in this select affair. His opponents include Brooklyn's Rose (Ire) (Holy Roman Emperor (Ire)">Holy Roman Emperor {Ire}), a daughter of MGSW 2005 G1 Irish Oaks fourth Right Key (Ire) (Key of Luck), who makes a swift reappearance for the Ger Lyons stable after registering a debut win at Fairyhouse nine days ago, and an Aidan O'Brien contingent trimmed from an original entry of eight to two and consisting of Inca Gold (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and Pipes of Peace (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), the latter being out of a half-sister to the 2005 G1 Coronation S. heroine Maids Causeway (Ire) (Giant's Causeway).

Godolphin's FRONTIERSMAN (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) gets a second chance to shed maiden status coming back from a debut third at Goodwood last month. The Charlie Appleby trainee is out of the international star Ouija Board (GB) (Cape Cross {Ire}) and is thus a half-brother to 2014 G1 Epsom Derby, G1 Irish Derby and G1 Juddmonte International hero Australia (GB) (Galileo {Ire}), and faces 13 rivals here. They include Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Sirdaal (Medaglia d'Oro), who is a twice-raced half to 2009 G1 1000 Guineas and G1 Coronation S. victress Ghanaati (Giant's Causeway), G1 Champion S. runner-up and sire Mawatheeq (Danzig), and G1 Epsom Oaks third Rumoush (Rahy).

1.25 Clairefontaine, Cond, €28,000, 4yo/up, 2200mT

V.E. DAY (English Channel), who enjoyed his biggest day when winning the GI Travers S. at Saratoga two years ago, makes his local debut for new trainer Andre Fabre and his first start since finishing a well-beaten seventh in Keeneland's GII Fayette S. last October. His opponents include German Group 1 winner Girolamo (Ger) (Dai Jin {GB}), who looks to recapture his glory days coming off a Saint-Cloud conditions win June 16.
