BABAR (FR) (Motivator {GB}), an Andre Fabre-trained firster, is out of 2008 Listed Prix La Fleche second Bargouzine (Stravinsky) and is thus a half-brother to dual Group 3 winner Joyful Trinity (Ire) (Zanzibari), who hit the board in last term's G1 Hong Kong Mile and this year's G1 Stewards' Cup and G1 Queen's Silver Jubilee Cup. His nine rivals include Simon Hope's once-raced Sagres (GB) (Henrythenavigator), who is a half-sister to 2011 G2 Prix Robert Papin winner and G1 Prix Morny runner-up Family One (Fr) (Dubai Destination), from the Francis-Henri Graffard.
