SOLOW (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}) makes his keenly anticipated reappearance for the Wertheimers and Freddy Head in this Prix Montjeu as he gears up for a bid to win back-to-back renewals of the G1 Dubai Turf. Successful 12 months ago before his stellar season, which also encompassed victories in the G1 Prix d'Ispahan, G1 Queen Anne S., the G1 Sussex S. and G1 Queen Elizabeth II S., the 6-year-old is met by the much-vaunted Vadamos (Fr) (Monsun {Ger}), Andre Fabre's G2 Oettingen-Rennen winner who was below par when last in Ascot's G1 Champion S.

“It worked well last year running him in this so we thought we'd do it again,” said Head of Solow. “He's a year older but he's still the same, he hasn't changed physically. This race suits him, he doesn't have to give that much weight away. I'm very happy with him, of course he won't be 100% as it is early March, but he's not far off.”

3.05 Chantilly, Alw, €50,000, 4yo/up, 9 1/2f (AWT)
QUEEN'S JEWEL (GB) (Pivotal {GB}) is another high-profile runner for the Wertheimers-Freddy Head connection in this Prix Darshaan as she is aimed towards the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic. Successful in last term's G1 Prix Saint-Alary and later third in the GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf, the homebred encounters a formidable crew headed by the G1 Mackinnon S. hero Gailo Chop (Fr) (Deportivo {GB}).
