The full-brother to last year's G3 Prix Djebel winner Ride Like the Wind (Ire) is met by another of the operation's newcomers in Zelzal (Fr) (Sea the Stars {Ire}), a €180,000 AROCT descendant of Crystal Spray (GB) who is in the charge of Jean-Claude Rouget.

WAR FLAG (War Front">War Front) starts out belatedly for Joseph Allen and Jean-Claude Rouget, having missed her intended debut at Cagnes-sur-Mer in January. She is a full-sister to the 2013 G2 UAE Derby and 2015 G1 Standard Chartered Champions & Chater Cup hero Lines of Battle, as well as being a half to the 2006 G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere runner-up Battle Paint (Tale of the Cat), the 2009 G2 Prix de Sandringham winner Homebound (Dixie Union) and the graded-stakes placegetter Blue Exit (Pulpit). Among those she meets here is Ecurie des Charmes' Energie Green (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}), a Freddy Head-trained relative of one of the sire's best in another Head starlet, Moonlight Cloud (GB).
