Rivals include fellow Godolphin colourbearer Year of Promise (Gio Ponti), a Henri-Alex Pantall-trained half-sister of MGISW Smiling Tiger (Hold That Tiger) and GI Del Mar Debutante S. heroine She's a Tiger (Tale of the Cat); and Qatar Racing's Freddy Head trainee Dame de Sang (Fr) (Vision d'Etat {Fr}), a half to last term's G3 Prix des Chenes scorer Evasive's First (Fr) (Evasive {GB}).

His Highness The Aga Khan's SHALAKAR (FR) (Cape Cross {Ire}) is out of the 2009 G1 Prix de l'Opera heroine and 2010 G1 Prix Ganay and GI E.P. Taylor S. placegetter Shalanaya (Ire) (Lomitas {GB}), and opens up for Mikel Delzangles in this newcomers' heat. He is opposed by Kirsten Rausing's Galapiat (GB) (Galileo {Ire}), a son of the 2010 G1 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis victress Lady Jane Digby (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}), from the Andre Fabre stable.

Al Asayl Bloodstock's newcomer TALISA (IRE) (Pour Moi {Ire}), a David Simcock trainee, is a half-sister to the 2003 G1 Prix Saint-Alary victress Fidelite (Ire) (In the Wings {GB}), herself the dam of last term's Listed La Coupe de Marseille winner Extremis (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}). Her nine opponents include Juddmonte homebred Atone (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}), a full-sister to three-time G1 Nassau S. heroine and GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf winner Midday (GB) who bids to improve on a last-of-11 at Sandown for the Sir Michael Stoute stable last month.

Shadwell homebred NAAFER (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}) is out of the 2008 Listed Atalanta S winner Shabiba (Seeking the Gold) and is therefore a full-sister to this term's G1 Al Quoz Sprint runner-up Ertijaal (Ire). The William Haggas incumbent is joined by George Strawbridge homebred and fellow debutante Night Law (GB) (Lawman {Fr}), a daughter of the 2012 GI E.P. Taylor S. second Night Carnation (GB) (Sleeping Indian {GB}), who represents the Andrew Balding yard.
