LUSORY (GB) (Shamardal) is a Godolphin-owned and Charlie Appleby-trained son of the G1 Fillies Mile heroine Playful Act (Ire) (Sadler's Wells), who has gone on to produce the GII New York S. winner Giants Play (Giant's Causeway) and the GIII Orchid S. scorer Anjaz (Street Cry {Ire}). Playful Act is a daughter of the prolific matriarch Magnificient Style (Silver Hawk), responsible for the likes of Nathaniel (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and his G1 Irish Oaks-winning full-sister Great Heavens (GB).
