In opposition is Ecurie Jean-Louis Bouchard and Georges Sandor's Thais (Fr) (Rio de la Plata), a Pascal Bary-trained half-sister to the dual group scorer Trixia (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}) who was second on debut at Deauville last month.

The China Horse Club's son of the 2008 G3 Athasi S. winner Prima Luce (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) from the Roger Varian stable meets another notable newcomer in Ballymacoll Stud's homebred colt Rainbow Legacy (Ire) (Frankel (GB)">Frankel {GB}), a Sir Michael Stoute trainee whose dam is a full-sister to Golan (Ire) and Tartan Bearer (Ire).

CHOUMICHA (GB) (Paco Boy {Ire}) cost £280,000 at Doncaster last August even before his full-brother Galileo Gold (GB) captured the G1 2000 Guineas and G1 St James's Palace S. Like him, Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar's bay is housed in Hugo Palmer's Kremlin Cottage Stables and he may not have to be out of the ordinary to collect this 13-runner affair on debut.
