CONQUEST (IRE) (Galileo {Ire}) bids to build on a debut fifth at Leopardstown in July in the maiden won three years ago by the subsequent 1000 Guineas heroine Legatissimo (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}). Derrick Smith's full-sister to the high-class Minding (Ire) out of the G1 Coronation S. and G1 Matron S. winner Lillie Langtry (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}) is joined by fellow Ballydoyle representative Sizzling (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), a relative of Court Vision who was second in a decent Newmarket maiden last time as they meet Godolphin's Active Approach (GB) (New Approach {Ire}), Jim Bolger's daughter of his G1 Phoenix S. and G1 Moyglare Stud S. winner Saoirse Abu (Mr. Greeley) who was in front of Conquest when third on debut.

ESPOIR D'SOLEIL (IRE) (Galileo {Ire}) debuts for Moyglare Stud Farm and the Dermot Weld stable which is synonymous with this festival and is responsible for six of the last nine winners of this. A half-sister to the G1 Tattersalls Gold Cup hero Casual Conquest (Ire) (Hernando {Fr}) who was also placed in the G1 English and Irish Derbies, the homebred encounters 15 rivals and several with experience.
