BALTIC DUCHESS (IRE) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) debuts for Gestut Ammerland and Andre Fabre and is a half-sister to Baltic Baroness (Ger) (Shamardal), whose career culminated with victory in the 2014 G1 Prix Vermeille in which Treve (Fr) (Motivator {GB}) was only fourth. Also racing for the first time is Frank McNulty's Hug (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}), a Fabrice Chappet-trained half-sister to Tie Black (Ire) (Machiavellian) who was awarded the 2006 G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches by the Longchamp stewards.
