GOLDEN REIGN (IRE) (Champs Elysees {GB}) is of obvious interest making her debut in a race stacked full of fascinating bluebloods, being a half-sister to the outstanding Golden Horn (GB) (Cape Cross {Ire}). Snapped up for what looks to be a bargain €150,000 at Goffs before her illustrious sibling had began to hit some lofty heights at the Goffs Orby in 2014, Clipper Logistics' chestnut is also a full-sister to the SW and MGSP Eastern Belle (GB) and is in the more than capable hands of William Haggas. Among her opponents are a pair of Godolphin representatives in the once-raced Dufay (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}), a Charlie Appleby-trained daughter of the operation's G1 Fillies' Mile heroine White Moonstone (Dynaformer) and the Saeed bin Suroor-trained newcomer Lacey's Lane (GB) (Street Cry {Ire}), a Saeed bin Suroor project whose dam Hibaayeb (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}) also won the Fillies' Mile before following up in the GI Yellow Ribbon S.

CHIEF WHIP (Giant's Causeway) makes his belated return for Susan Magnier following his taking debut win at Sandown in July in this Classic teaser. Entered in the Irish 2000 Guineas, the $250,000 KEENOV half-brother to the 2012 G1 Matron S. winner Chachamaidee (Ire) (Footstepsinthesand {GB}) and her MGSW full-sibling J Wonder, the Richard Hannon-trained chestnut encounters seven rivals who have already shown smart form including the John Gosden-trained colt Vincent's Forever (GB) (Pour Moi {Ire}). A half-brother to the grade 2-winning hurdler Kings Quay (GB) (Montjeu {Ire}), he was green when scoring on debut in Leicester's Reference Point Maiden S. over seven furlongs in October and there should be plenty to come on pedigree.
