This is also the family of champions Rubiano (Fappiano) and Summer Bird (Birdstone); and MGSW Madefromlucky (Lookin at Lucky). JoAnn and Alex Lieblong went to $200,000 to acquire Pryor (Paynter) at the OBS March sale after the colt breezed in :10 2/5. A son of GI Spinaway S. winner Awesome Humor (Distorted Humor), the bay also traces his lineage back to MGISW sire Constitution (Tapit); GISw Emcee (Unbridled's Song); and MGSW & G1SP Surfer (Distorted Humor). Hall of Famer Shug McGaughey saddles a royally-bred first time starter in Phipps Stable homebred PENDANT (Bernardini), the final foal out of MGISW millionaire My Flag (Easy Goer), who passed away just after giving birth to this colt at the age of 21. A daughter of Hall of Famer Personal Ensign, My Flag also produced champion Storm Flag Flying (Storm Cat) and SW With Flying Colors (A.P. Indy). My Flag is a half-sister to Grade I winners Miner's Mark (Mr. Prospector) and Traditionally (Mr. Prospector); as well as the dam of GISW Mr Speaker (Pulpit). Brian Lynch also has a well-related sophomore making his belated career bow in Paul Pompa's Anchor (Tapit&log=">Tapit). The chestnut is out of the unraced Storm Cat mare Lorelei K, who is a half-sister to GISW Harmony Lodge (Hennessy); MGSW Graeme Hall (Dehere); and GSW Win McCool (Giant's Causeway). TJCIS PPs.

The hulking bay finished second in his first start for Mark Casse going six furlongs at Keeneland Oct. 7 and that race's winner Rubus (Majestic Warrior) is set to contest the Street Sense S. Sunday at Churchill Downs. Out of Moonbow (Distorted Humor), a daughter of SW Storm Beauty (Storm Cat), the juvenile hails from the family of champions Gold Beauty (Mr. Prospector), Sky Beauty (Blushing Groom {Fr}) and Dayjur (Danzig); MGISW sire Tale of Ekati (Tale of the Cat); GISW millionaire Pleasant Home (Seeking the Gold) and MGSW & GISP Country Hideaway (Seeking the Gold). Jail House (Orb) makes his career bow for Dale Romans in this spot. The $1350,000 KEENOV buy is out of a daughter of GISW Preach (Mr. Prospector), who also produced MGSW & GISP Pulpit, the sire of Tapit.
