In this week's column, Bill Oppenheim examines the broodmare sires of all-weather horses. Interestingly, horses like A.P. Indy, who have by and large failed to make a significant impact as the sire of European-raced horses, sports respectable figures as a broodmare sire. Sadler's Wells, as well as his sons Galileo and Montjeu, also do not have eyecatching numbers as the sires of all-weather runners. But, in the case of Sadler's Wells, he has perfectly acceptable numbers as an AW broodmare sire.
