Bill Oppenheim examines the stallion sons of the great A.P. Indy, who is in the immediate pedigree of no fewer than four Kentucky Derby hopefuls this weekend. Oppenheim focuses in on Overbrook Farm's Jump Start, Claiborne's Pulpit (who has a Derby favorite in Pyro), Spendthrift's Malibu Moon, and Stephen Got Even, who like his sire stands at Lane's End.
Oppenheim also examines third-crop sires and their impact on the track.
