Over 25% of the 306 lots catalogued are out of black-type mares or siblings to black-type horses, including lot 82, a Rajsaman (Fr) half-sister to the Group 3-placed To My Valentine (Fr) (Dyhim Diamond {Ire}); lot 145, a George Vancouver (Ire) half-sister to Australian Group 1 winner Pornichet (Fr) (Vespone {Ire}); lot 257, a Silver Frost (Ire) half-brother to listed winner Lady Sybil (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}); and lot 282, a Dabirsim (Fr) half-sister to G3 Prix du Lys winner Remus de la Tour (Fr) (Stormy River {Fr}) and listed winner Chill (Fr) (Verglas {Ire}).
There are 98 sires represented in the catalogue, including promising young sires Le Havre (Ire), Siyouni (Fr) and Wootton Bassett (GB).
In its short history, the La Teste sale has compiled a respectable list of graduates that includes Royal Ascot Listed Chesham S. winner Suits You (Fr) (Youmzain {Ire}); dual U.S. Grade II winner and Grade I-placed Flamboyant (Fr) (Peer Gynt {Fr}); and G3 Prix des Chenes victor Evasive's First (Fr) (Evasive).
