WinStar Farm's Overture (Congrats) made her two-turn debut a winning one with a wire-to-wire score in the July 15 GIII Indiana Oaks and figures to be on the engine again Saturday as she headlines an intriguing group of sophomore fillies assembled for the 93rd renewal of the GIII Monmouth Oaks. Never off the board in five appearances, the Bill Mott trainee could get a stern test late from My Miss Tapit (Tapit), a $550,000 KEESEP yearling purchase by Mathis Stable. TheĀ latter won her first two starts at Gulfstream Park with authority, including a 1 1/4-length decision over subsequent GII Black Eyed Susan S. heroine Actress (Tapit) in the restricted Game Face S. Apr. 22. She was last seen checking in an even fourth in Belmont's GII Mother Goose S. July 1 and stretches out to two turns at the Jersey Shore.

Brereton Jones homebred Proud and Fearless (Proud Citizen) and Old Coach Farm's You Know Too (Colonel John) finished second and fourth, respectively, behind 'TDN Rising Star' It Tiz Well (Arch) in the July 8 GIII Delaware Oaks and ship up from the Wilmington oval to renew acquaintances here. Both fillies have some semblance of early speed and could contribute to a contested early pace. GIII Iowa Oaks runner-up Babybluesbdancing (Sky Mesa) makes her first foray outside the Midwest in Saturday's affair.
