Sunday's European action features Baden-Baden's G3 Ittlingen Preis der Winterkonigin, where Markus Klug's stable dominates again. Stall Turffighter's Peace of Paris (Ger) (Helmet {Aus}) looks to build on her encouraging third in the G3 Zukunftsrennen over seven furlongs here Sept. 2 and is joined by Gestut Rottgen's Sept. 30 Listed Winterkonigen-Trial first and second Akribie (Ger) (Reliable Man {GB}) and Sharoka (Ire) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}) and Gestut Park Wiedingen's promising Hannover maiden scorer Whispering Angel (Ger) (Soldier Hollow {GB}). Klug has six in total, but chief opposition could come in the form of Rennstall Gestut Hachtsee's Hoppegarten scorer Ivanka (Ger) (Dabirsim {Fr}) from the Andreas Wohler stable. At Chantilly, the G2 Prix du Conseil de Paris again suffers from its proximity to the Arc meeting and next week's G1 Prix Royal-Oak and offers only low-quality fayre for its status. It could offer an ideal opportunity for the June 3 G2 Grand Prix de Chantilly third and Arc 11th Way To Paris (GB) (Champs Elysees {GB}) to gain a career-best success.
