The catalogue for the 2018 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale has been released online and can be viewed here. 302 lots have assembled for the sale which takes place Feb. 19 & 20 at the Belmont Park Sales Complex. The roll of honour of previous graduates of this sale is impressive and is headed by Black Heart Bart (Aus) (Blackfriars {Aus}) who bids for his sixth Group 1 win in the G1 Magic Millions Kingston Town Classic at Ascot on Saturday. Other graduates like Great Shot (Aus) (Magnus {Aus}), Silent Sedition (Aus) (War Chant) and Scenic Blast (Aus) (Scenic {Ire}) highlight the quality on offer each year. Next year's edition looks no different with half, three quarter or full-siblings to 15 group winners and numerous yearlings out of group winning dams such as Arabian Lass (SAf) (Al Mufti) offered as lot 24; lot 104 out of Moccasin Bend (Aus) (Eternity Range {Aus}) and lot 7 out of Translate (Aus) (Love A Dane {Aus}) to name a few.
In a boost for local buyers 79% of yearlings catalogued are eligible for the rich Westspeed Platinum scheme and 95% eligible for either Platinum or the standard Westspeed schemes. Some 37 lots are BOBS eligible and all lots offered are eligible to be paid up for the A$11 million plus Magic Millions Race Series.
