Australian trainer Peter Moody purchased the top-priced lot during Tuesday's second and final session of New Zealand Bloodstocks' Premier Yearling Sale in Karaka, going to NZ$775,000 (US$648,286) for a son of Pins (Aus) out of Sayyida (NZ) (Zabeel {NZ}). The yearling is a half-brother to 2012 G1 Cox Plate winner Ocean Park (NZ) (Thorn Park {Aus}). He was consigned by his breeder Trelawney Stud and was the third highest priced lot after two days of selling in Karaka.
