The opening session of the Goffs Orby Sale was book-ended by the sale of a Pivotal (GB) half-brother to last year's champion 2-year-old filly Maybe (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) for ﾀ500,000. From the immediate family of the 2011 G1 Epsom Oaks, G1 Preis de Diana and G2 British Champions Fillies and Mares' S. heroine Dancing Rain (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}) and, further back, Dr Devious (Ire), the April-foaled chestnut was purchased by Nicolas de Watrigant's Mandore International Agency.
