Placid Lake Brings $320,000 at F-T

Stakes winner Placid Lake (Greenwood Lake) attracted a final bid of $320,000 during Sunday's opening session of the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale in Lexington. The five-year-old racing or broodmare prospect was consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency and was purchased by John Lossen, agent. Placid Lake is a half sister to MSW and GSP Smoke Chaser (Smoke Glacken) and a full to MSP Old Town Pond.
