Plusvital Launch Evening Seminars

The Irish equine science company Plusvital will run a series of seminars in Ireland and Britain on equine genetics. The seminars will aim to provide members of the bloodstock industry with an insight into recent advancements in genetics, their current capabilities and the likely direction of this technology in the years ahead. They will also provide industry professionals, and other interested parties, with the opportunity to pose questions to an expert panel and learn more about how equine genetics has evolved to become another tool used by thoroughbred trainers and breeders in their decision making process.

Donal Ryan, Plusvital's chief operating officer said, “The aim of these free seminar evenings is to present the science in an accessible way, explain what these tools can do, and also can't do, and give some examples of how they are being used in both the thoroughbred industry but also in other industries. We welcome all interested parties to attend, including those that are curious or are sceptical. Our aim is to give a little bit more detail and allow the audience to put it to the experts.” The schedule of seminars, outlined below, are free to attend, and will begin at 6pm each evening.

• Oct. 17 – Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge, Ireland
• Oct. 18 – Hilton North Hotel, Newbury, UK
• Oct. 19 – Bedford Lodge, Newmarket, UK
• Oct. 20 – Wetherby Racecourse, Yorkshire, UK
• Dec. 5 – The Horse & Jockey Hotel, Tipperary, Ireland.
