Political Force (Unbridledís Song–Glitter Woman, by Glitterman) has been retired from racing and will begin his stud career next season at Claiborne Farm for a fee of $15,000. Bred and raced by Joseph Allen, the four-year-old won the June 30 GI Suburban H. He was second in the GI Metropolitan H. and ended his career with a third-place effort behind Curlin and Lawyer Ron in the Sept. 30 GI Jockey Club Gold Cup. On the board in 13 of 17 starts, Political Force retires with four wins and earnings of $607,232. Political Force is out of Grade I winner Glitter Woman, a half sister to GI Breedersí Cup Distaff winner Unbridled Elaine (Unbridledís Song).
