MY MISS LILLY (f, 2, Tapit&log=">Tapit–Wicked Deed {SW}, by Harlan's Holiday), a $670,000 KEESEP purchase, broke in a tangle and trailed the field in the initials stages. Guided to the outside by Javier Castellano, the 3-1 chance quickly got her feet beneath her and rushed up to stalk heavily favored Lady Suebee (First Defence) from second through a sharp first quarter in :22.55. Drawing even with the chalk in the lane, the gray displayed some greenness, lugging in a bit towards her rival. However, Castellano quickly righted the ship and My Miss Lilly splashed clear of 1-2 favorite Lady Suebee to don cap and gown by 2 1/2 lengths. The winner is a full-sister to Just Wicked, GSW, $208,460. Wicked Deed is also represented by a Tapit colt of 2016. She was bred back to Gainesway's leading sire this year. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $36,000. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
