+INTRICATELY (IRE) (f, 2, Fastnet Rock {Aus}–Inner Realm {GB}, by Galileo {Ire}), whose dam is a half-sister to the famous Rock of Gibraltar (Ire), was sent off a dismissive 33-1 but showed professionalism to race in a stalking third early. Hunting down Ballydoyle's 4-6 favourite Sir Edwin Landseer (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and gaining the upper hand with 100 yards remaining, the homebred asserted for a convincing 1 1/4-length success. “She was working fairly well, but I thought she'd be very green around here first time,” Joseph O'Brien told Irish Racing.com. “She wasn't as green as I thought and Michael [Hussey] gave her a great ride. The race worked out well for her and she seemed okay on the ground. She'll probably step into a listed or group race–she'd be entitled to. Seven furlongs is probably her trip.” The only known foal bred from “The Rock's” half-sibling, she also hails from the family of the G3 International S. winner Precious Gem (Ire) by Galileo's sire Sadler's Wells. The third dam Push a Button (Ire) (Bold Lad {Ire}) is a half to the Poule d'Essai des Poulains hero and leading sire Riverman and is the second dam of the G3 Hobart Cup victor Offenbach (Aus) (Danehill) and the stakes-placed and producing Star of Gibraltar (Aus) (Danehill). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $10,750. Video, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
