Queen's Ransom: 'Jade' Goes for $450,000

Jade Queen, a six-year-old MGISP mare who most recently competed Dec. 6, sold for $450,000 as a racing or broodmare prospect. Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, agent, Jade Queen was acquired by Summer Wind Farm/Jane Lyon. The chestnut, third in the 2006 GI Garden City Breeders' Cup S. and GI Flower Bowl Invitational S., has earned $293,232 during her racing career and is out of the GISP mare Jade Flush (Jade Hunter).
