Toyomitsu Hirai's Eishin Farm, which purchased a Montbrook colt for $470,000 during Tuesday's opening session of the OBS March sale, was back in action Wednesday to take home a son of Read the Footnotes for $475,000. The colt is out of Dixie Talent (Dixie Union), a half to graded stakes winner No Giveaway (He's Tops) and multiple graded stakes placed Melissa Jo (Fusaichi Pegasus). The juvenile, who worked a bullet quarter-mile in :20.4 last week, was a $27,000 OBSWIN purchase and was consigned by Greg and Karen Dodd's Southern Chase Farm, agent.
