Record price achieved for Snitzel yearling

Smashing the prior record price achieved for a Snitzel yearling of A$1million recorded at last yearﾒs Inglis Easter Sale, the Arrowfield Stud (as agent)-consigned Hip 118 was knocked down to Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum for A$1.5million, the third yearling purchased by him on day one of the sale. A full-brother to G1 Lightning Stakes winner Snitzerland, the colt is out of the Fraar (USA) mare Monte Rosa (Aus), a sister to the G3-winning, G1-placed Nina Haraka (Aus).
