While no official statement has been made by Breeders' Cup officials, Keeneland Race Course has been selected to host the 2015 Breeders' Cup championships, according to a report in the Louisville Courier-Journal. According to a story by the Courier-Journal's Gregory Hall, who cited two sources with knowledge of the plans, the Breeders' Cup will announce this month that Santa Anita will host the 2016 championships, followed by Del Mar in 2017. Both Keeneland and Del Mar would be first-time hosts of the two-day championships.
