Richard Galpin in Critical Condition

Top bloodstock agent Richard Galpin, principal of Newmarket International Thoroughbred Consultants, is in the Intensive Care Unit at Aventura Hospital in Aventura, Florida. Galpin suffered a fall Thursday and sustained some cuts and abrasions. He was treated and released from Aventura Hospital that day, and attended Frida?s breeze show. Later Friday night, he complained of a severe headache, and he was re-admitted to Aventura Saturday. It is uncertain whether he suffered an aneurysm or a hemorrhage. “Heís on life support; itís very serious,” said Terence Collier, Fasig-Tiptonís director of marketing.
