RIVER TO RUN IN BERESFORD
Magnier, Tabor and Smith's Ol' Man River (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}), last year's €2.85 million Goffs Orby sale topper, is one of eight declared for Sunday's G2 Beresford S. at The Curragh, where he will make his second start. Ol' Man River earned J “TDN Rising Star” J status when winning on debut at The Curragh Aug. 31, and he is currently as short as 12-1 with some bookmakers for next year's G1 Investec Derby. Ol' Man River will be joined by Ballydoyle stablematesOrder of St George (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), who broke his maiden by 8 1/2 lengths at third asking Aug. 14, and Battle of Marathon (War Front).
