Jack Robbins has stepped down as president of the Oak Tree Racing Association. A founding director of the association, Robbins has served as president for the past 11 years. He has assumed the chairmanship of the Oak Tree Board of Directors. John Barr, an Oak Tree director for the past 14 years, has been elected to succeed Robbins. Barr has served as president of the CTBA and is a member of the CTBA board. He also serves on The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Safety Committee. A past steward of The Jockey Club and former director of the Breeders' Cup, Barr and his wife, Betty, race as Oakcrest Stable.
