Jim and Linda McIngvale, owners of champion and Keeneland sales graduate Runhappy (Super Saver), will for the second year offer a $10,000 college scholarship during Keeneland's College Scholarship Day Friday, Apr. 7. The Runhappy Scholarship will be awarded to one full-time student via random drawing after the eighth race post parade. Runhappy annexed the 2015 GIII Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix S. and GI Breeders' Cup Sprint en route to champion sprinter honors. “Runhappy has strong ties to Keeneland,” Jim McIngvale said. “He was a graduate of the Keeneland September [Yearling] Sale and went on to win some of his biggest races here at this track. So this is a great opportunity to commemorate his efforts, show our appreciation to Keeneland and, most importantly, help contribute to the education of young people.”
